Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of remote-office.ai, operated by Remote Office Corp ("Remote Office", "we", "us"), a company based in Massachusetts, USA. By using this site, you agree to these terms.

What this site is

This site is an informational and marketing presence for Remote Office's services: ultra modern websites, task automation, digital media, custom SaaS and full-stack AI integration. It also introduces Anticipa and Duplo Coach, products built by Remote Office. Anticipa and Duplo Coach are offered under their own terms once available; nothing on this site is itself a contract for those products.

Purchases through our online store

Website packages sold through our online store at app.remote-office.ai/loja have a fixed price per product. That price is charged in full at the time of purchase, before your service contract is countersigned. After purchase, we send you a briefing form and a contract for signature that states the price you already paid. Digital Productions packages (Avatars, Commercial Video and Animated Creatives) work differently and are covered in the next section.

You can cancel and receive a full refund at any time before you submit a complete briefing through the briefing link we send you. If you never submit one, we will close the project and refund your payment in full 90 days after payment; we will email you a reminder before that happens.

Once you submit a complete briefing, the fee becomes non-refundable, with one exception: if we miss the delivery date stated in your contract, you can send us written notice of the delay. If we still have not delivered within 15 days of that notice, you can terminate the contract, and we will refund the portion of your payment for the work not yet delivered.

This is a summary. The full purchase, cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Master Service Agreement and Statement of Work you sign at purchase. Where this summary differs from the signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.

Digital Productions: Avatars, Commercial Video and Animated Creatives

Avatars, Commercial Video and Animated Creatives packages sold through our online store have a fixed price per product, charged in full at the time of purchase. There is no separate contract to sign: these terms, together with the product page and the checkout summary shown at the time of your purchase, are the agreement between you and Remote Office for that package. The delivery time, what the package includes (such as the number of images, the number of clips or the length of the video) and the number of revisions are the ones stated on the product page and at checkout when you bought it.

After payment, we email you a link to send your material. The link is valid for the number of days stated at checkout. Delivery times are counted in calendar days.

If we miss a delivery date stated at your purchase, you can send us written notice of the delay. If we still have not delivered within 15 days of that notice, we refund the full amount.

We show your video, your animated creative or your avatar as an example of our work only if you say yes to that, separately, on the form where you send your material, and only in the way that form describes.

Avatars

You send reference photos of yourself through the link. The delivery time counts from the moment you send them. Avatars packages include no revision rounds. If the photos do not allow a good result, we will ask you for new ones; if it is still not possible, we refund the full amount before we produce anything. You receive the delivered images and videos, not the trained avatar model.

Commercial Video

You send a recording of yourself, photos, and your business details through the link. In Commercial Video — Avatar packages, you do not send a recording: you send photos of yourself, an audio recording of your voice and the text the avatar will say, and the video is presented by an AI avatar of you. Production happens in two stages. First, we send you approval material; its delivery time counts from the day we confirm your material is complete, and you can ask for changes to it up to the number of revisions stated on the product page. Each round of changes you ask for has the same delivery time, counted from your request. Second, once you approve, we produce the final video; its delivery time counts from your approval. The final video has no revisions. If it comes out with an error that hurts the commercial, such as a face that does not look like yours or text that appeared on its own, we redo it at our cost.

Before production starts, we check that your material is complete. If it does not allow a good result, we will ask you to send it again; if it is still not possible, we refund the full amount. Once we confirm your material is complete, production starts and the fee is non-refundable, except as stated above for a missed delivery date. An error in the final video that hurts the commercial is fixed by redoing it, as described above, not by a refund.

Image and voice

Before we produce a Commercial Video, you accept, on the submission form, an Image and Voice Authorization that is part of these terms. In it, you authorize Remote Office to use the recording you send (your face, body, gestures and voice) and the photos of you and of your business only to produce your Commercial Video; to send that material to the artificial intelligence providers listed in our Privacy Policy, which process it under their own policies; and to transcribe your speech for subtitles, and translate it if you choose subtitles in another language.

You also declare that you are 18 or older and are the person in the recording and photos; that you have the right to use the place, the brand, the logo and everything else that appears in the material you send; and that you will use the video to advertise your own business, without making false claims about it.

The authorization also states that the setting and the clothing in the video are created by artificial intelligence from your real recording, and that your voice and your words are the ones you recorded. The files you send for a Commercial Video are deleted from our systems 180 days after delivery, and you can ask us to delete them sooner by writing to hello@remote-office.ai. You can withdraw the authorization for future use; that does not undo a video already delivered or already published by you.

Commercial Video — Avatar packages have their own Image and Voice Authorization, also accepted on the submission form and also part of these terms. In it, you authorize Remote Office to use the photos and the audio recordings of your voice that you send only to produce the Commercial Videos you purchase; to create, with artificial intelligence, an avatar with your appearance and a synthesized voice that speaks the text you approve; to send that material to the artificial intelligence providers listed in our Privacy Policy, which process it under their own policies; and to keep the photos, the audio recordings and the avatar for up to 180 days after the last delivery, so you can purchase other Commercial Videos in that period without sending everything again. You declare that you are 18 or older and are the person in the photos and the person speaking in the audio recordings, with the same declarations about the material and the use of the video stated above.

That authorization states that the image, the voice and the speech in the video are generated by artificial intelligence from your material, and that the avatar only says the text you approved; Remote Office does not use your avatar or your voice for any other speech. When you publish the video, social networks may require you to label it as content created with artificial intelligence, and that labeling is your responsibility. The photos, the audio recordings and the avatar are deleted from our systems 180 days after the last delivery, and you can ask us to delete them sooner by writing to hello@remote-office.ai. You can withdraw the authorization for future use; that does not undo a video already delivered or already published by you.

Commercial Video — Character

In Commercial Video — Character packages, the video is presented by a realistic character created by Remote Office with artificial intelligence. The character is not a real person and does not portray any real person. You do not send a recording, photos of yourself or an audio recording of your voice: after payment, you pick a character from our catalog, tell us any adjustments you want (such as approximate age, hair, beard, work clothes and tone of voice), send the text the character will say and your business details and, optionally, your logo and photos of your business location. Production follows the same two stages, delivery times, revisions, refund rule and absence of a signed contract described above for Commercial Video; the product page states the numbers.

The character presents your company and speaks on its behalf. It never presents itself as your customer: it does not say it hired you, or that it recommends your service because it used it. If the text you send asks for that, we adjust it, and you approve the final text before the video is made. You are responsible for what your video says about your business.

Exclusivity. The character you pick is exclusive to you: for 180 days after the last delivery with that character, we do not offer it to another client and we do not use it in videos for another business. During that period you can buy other Commercial Videos with the same character without choosing again. This exclusivity is a license to use the character in the videos we produce for you, to advertise your own business; you do not acquire ownership of the character, and you may not use it to portray a real person or to advertise another business. After the 180 days, the character is deleted from our systems and is not offered again, to you or to anyone else.

When you publish the video, social networks may require you to label it as content created with artificial intelligence, and that labeling is your responsibility. Before you submit your material, you accept on the submission form a short statement of these points; the version you accepted is recorded.

Animated Creatives

Animated Creatives packages (Light and Premium, in 15, 30 or 60 seconds) are an animated carousel presented as a video, created by Remote Office, with camera movement, ad lettering, sound and narration. The people who appear in the piece are created by us with artificial intelligence: they are not real people, they do not portray any real person, and they never present themselves as your customers. Your face and your voice are not part of this product, and we do not collect photos, video or audio of you for it. Through the link, you send your business name and line of business, your logo and brand colors, the offer and the price, a closing line, the address of your website, optionally the addresses of your business's Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, the language of the piece (Portuguese, English or Spanish, one language per piece) and, optionally, 3 to 8 photos of your product or its artwork.

Production follows the same two stages, delivery times, revisions, refund rule and absence of a signed contract described above for Commercial Video; the product page states the numbers. In the first stage we send you the script, the text of the ad lettering, the main image and voice options for your approval; in the second, once you approve, we assemble the finished creative. The finished creative has no revisions. If it comes out with a technical defect, such as a person who changes from one scene to another, wrong text or a sound out of sync, we redo it at our cost. The length stated for each package is a reference: the finished piece may be a few seconds longer or shorter, following the script you approved. Text and prints on your product may vary slightly in the reproduction, and we tell you before we assemble.

The piece ends with your logo, your closing line, the call to buy and your website; Remote Office does not appear in it. We deliver the file to you; we do not publish on your accounts. When you publish the creative, social networks may require you to label it as content created with artificial intelligence, and that labeling is your responsibility. You are responsible for what the creative says about your business.

Before you submit your material, you accept on the submission form a short statement: that you may use the logo, the brand and the product photos you send, and will use the creative to advertise your own business, without false claims about it; that you authorize us to send the material to the artificial intelligence providers listed in our Privacy Policy, which process it under their own policies; that you authorize us to look at your website and at any social media pages you list (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), to get to know your business and to use their images in your creative, and that those images belong to your business and you may use them; and that you understand the people in the creative are created by us. The version you accepted is recorded. The files you send for an animated creative are deleted from our systems 180 days after delivery, and you can ask us to delete them sooner by writing to hello@remote-office.ai.

Packs and video format

Commercial Video and Animated Creatives are sold in packs of 1, 5 or 10 videos. Each pack is its own product, with the price stated on its product page. A pack is produced as one batch: we send you the approval material for the whole batch, and you can ask for one round of changes to the whole batch (a pack has a single revision, whatever its size). The delivery times, including the delivery time of the final video, are the ones stated on the product page, and the material you send is the same whatever the size of the pack.

In Commercial Video, each video format (vertical or horizontal) is a separate product, with its own price. You choose it at checkout, with no format pre-selected, and confirm it in a final alert before payment. After payment, we can change the format only if you tell us before we send you the approval material. Once we have sent it, we have already spent production time and cost, and the other format is a new purchase.

Your account

When you buy, we open a client environment for you at app.remote-office.ai/conta. By accepting these Terms and the adhesion terms in the summary before payment, you agree that we open it. We email you a link to set your password; until you set it, the material we deliver also reaches you by email, with a link to download it. In your environment you can see your orders, download your signed contract when your package has one, follow the status of your order, and view, download and delete the material we deliver to you, which we keep there as the adhesion terms describe. You can leave the environment at any time from your account or, if you have not set a password yet, by writing to hello@remote-office.ai, and we then remove it as the adhesion terms and our Privacy Policy describe. The adhesion terms add to these Terms.

While your client environment is open, the material you send and the material we deliver are kept for the period in the adhesion terms (12 months from your last paid purchase), instead of the 180 days stated above for each product. A character reserved in Commercial Video — Character stays exclusive to you for 180 days, and that exclusivity does not depend on the environment.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse this site: no attempting to disrupt it, no scraping it at scale, no submitting the contact form for spam or unlawful purposes, and no using it in any way that violates applicable law.

Intellectual property

The Remote Office name, the flower mark, "We Are Where You Are" and the content of this site are the property of Remote Office Corp or its licensors. You may not reproduce or repurpose them without permission.

No warranty

This site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep information accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remote Office Corp is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and our services evolve. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
